Job description

  • Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport from Jurong East MRT)
  • Basic Salary: $2800 - $3200

Play a key role in the startup of the new site production line by assisting in the setup of the QC Laboratory, training lab analysts, and establishing lab systems to ensure safe and stable commissioning and operation of the new plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
  • Accurately interpret and report test results in a timely manner based on established methods.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory equipment and analyses.
  • Assist in the establishment, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory systems and equipment.
  • Maintain quality documentation and develop quality procedures.
  • Train Laboratory Analysts and Process Technicians on analytical instrument procedures.
  • Manage and maintain laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables, including inventory and procurement.
  • Improve and implement analytical and equipment work processes.
  • Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.

Our Requirements

  • Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or a science-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment.
  • Hands-on experience with GC, ICP, titration, and polymer testing equipment.
  • Proficiency in equipment calibration and reagent preparation.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
