Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of advisory solutions for Financial Planning and Wealth Management clients across all channels and the Wealth Continuum (Retail to Affluent to UHNW) regionally.
  • Platform Strategy & Roadmap: As a core member of the Wealth Platform, define and execute the strategic roadmap, aligning with business objectives and technological advancements across different client segments.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (product, advisory, technology, data) to integrate the Wealth Platform seamlessly with other systems and tools, ensuring a cohesive experience across all wealth segments.
  • User Experience Focus: Champion a user-centric design approach, ensuring the platform delivers a seamless and intuitive experience for advisors and clients across different wealth levels and needs.
  • Innovation & Enhancements: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the platform, exploring and implementing new features and functionalities to enhance advisory capabilities across retail, treasury, and private banking.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of professionals across different team and subject matter expertise, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Vendor Management: Include selection of potential vendors and partners, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
Key Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in platform and/or technology leadership roles, as part of business teams, with a focus on wealth management platforms or similar financial technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the full spectrum of wealth management advisory and products capabilities from retail banking through to treasury and private banking platforms.
  • Experience in platform architecture, development, and integration.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies (e.g., cloud computing, APIs, data analytics).
  • Strong knowledge and breadth of understanding of the external landscape of wealth booking systems and competitive platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and agile environment.
Key Success Factors:
  • Successful delivery of platform enhancements and new features within budget and on time.
  • High platform adoption rate by advisors and clients, leading to increased efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Effective management of vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality deliverables.
