Why Us?

• Working Location: Central

• Monday to Friday; 9am - 6pm

The Role:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for food ingredients, ensuring alignment with company goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.

• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on food ingredient trends, prices, and availability, and provide insights to the management team.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, favorable payment terms, and ensure long-term partnerships.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality control, and finance, to understand ingredient requirements and ensure smooth procurement processes.

• Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular supplier performance reviews, and address any issues or disputes that may arise.

• Monitor and track supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality control, and adherence to contractual obligations.

• Continuously evaluate and optimize the procurement process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement and food safety.

• Prepare reports, metrics, and analysis related to procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.

• Any other duties assigned by the management

What are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of procurement experience in food ingredients or food packaging.
