Managing and executing short-term (self-funded) and non-exchange programs to students from foreign universities.
The candidate will be part of a team in the International Program Office under the Graduate Studies Division, School of Computing.
• Preparing publicity materials including program website, poster, etc.
• Collecting applicants' materials for preliminary screening of applications.
• Managing communications with applicants and program participants including attending enquiries, resolving concerns or disseminating information.
• Managing the procurement of goods and services including but not limited to accommodation, insurance, venue booking, catering, transportation etc.
• Performing financial duties such as organizing and keeping track of incoming and outgoing payment, reconciliation etc.
• Assisting in any ad-hoc tasks as required by the International Program Office.
• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Some experience in program management, or event management. Passionate about working in the education industry is a plus.
• A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or experience in web design would be a bonus, though not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team as well as independently
