Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Supervisor/Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all warehouse functions (clerical and manual) while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

1. Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure a smooth-running department (Customer services & Warehouse operation team).
2. Collaborate in establishing work schedules and ensure effective job assignments.
3. Lead a team to manage daily logistics operations in aspects of manpower, process, system, service quality, resource optimization, cost management (OT), and related planning to deliver excellent service quality to our customers.
4. Ensure accuracy in inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, picking, packing, and staging goods while maintaining high productivity levels.
5. Develop and maintain excellent rapport with customers.
6. Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve issues, providing prompt responses with root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints.
7. Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of experience in logistics/warehousing/supply chain and people/resource management/leadership roles.
2. Diploma in Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Logistics.
3. Competent in root cause analysis, identification, and delivery of solutions for service failures.
4. Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
6. Proficient in Warehouse and Inventory Management Applications.
