Key Responsibilities

As an Entrepreneur in Residence, you will work as part of Athena Ventures’ core team to shape and develop impactful ventures. Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic Development: Collaborate with Athena’s leadership to identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with our mission.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of product designers, engineers, and business strategists to bring innovative ideas to life.
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to inform strategic decisions, study industry trends, and identify potential areas for innovation.
• Product Development: Partner with Athena’s product team to design and develop a scalable Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that addresses market needs effectively.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to emerging entrepreneurs within our network by sharing insights, experiences, and best practices.
• Networking: Engage with thought leaders, industry experts, investors, and stakeholders to build relationships that support Athena’s initiatives.
• Key Outcomes: By the end of the engagement, develop a scalable MVP, refine a business model, and establish a go-to-market strategy.

Ideal Profile

About You
You are a problem-solver with a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. Whether you’ve previously founded a startup or are exploring entrepreneurship for the first time, you are eager to learn, collaborate, and create solutions that matter.

• You have at least 2 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Internet.
• Prior experience within a startup would be a strong advantage.
• You have a solid prior experience within Technology.
• You possess excellent communication and business-facing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
• You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.

Qualifications

We are looking for passionate, driven individuals with the following qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in fields such as engineering, biotechnology, software development, or adjacent technical domains.
• Experience: Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing projects, or leading cross-functional teams is a plus.
