Job description

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will handle the supply chain management processes. You will work with a variety of items, from food to personal care products. This position emphasizes on leadership, effective communication, problem solving, and supply chain management expertise.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaising with vendors and customers, training of staff, guiding team leaders, monitoring work performance and implementing safety regulations.
  • Responsible for inbound and outbound processing (Verification of data, ensure repacking and sorting is done in a proper and timely manner).
  • Ensuring items are accurately labelled.
  • Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations within the warehouse function and practice good housekeeping.
  • Maintain an inventory database to track materials and shipping records.
  • Follow all safety regulations pertaining to the warehouse on a regular basis.
  • Repeatedly complete all assigned tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
  • Receive incoming shipment paperwork and review content against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed logs of material movement and prepare weekly and special reports.
  • Assist in day-to-day operations within the warehouse function.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior or management

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma/Certificate in logistics or supply chain management
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in logistics/warehouse environment
  • Some experience of interacting with external customers
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet timelines.
  • Possess a positive customer-orientated mind set
