Job Description

The Patent Research Engineer works at the forefront of technology and deals with innovations daily. They are required to stay abreast of current technical developments and the latest technology trends. This challenging, research-oriented role combines Scientific Expertise, IP Skills, and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of patent and technical information.
2. Analyze inventions across various technologies and fields of Test & Measurement such as software, electronics & communication, electrical, mechanical, semiconductors, etc.
3. Perform searches on various databases, with projects like prior art, invalidation, infringement, landscape analysis.
4. Provide timely, critical, and decision-ready research reports to the technical and business communities.
5. Perform data analysis on companies, technologies, and markets to support innovation pathfinding, competitive intelligence, and litigation.
