Job description

The E-commerce Supervisor for Vivo and DJI manages e-commerce operations, ensuring consistent brand messaging and campaign alignment across platforms. The role includes leading a team of Ecommerce Executives, setting KPIs, and optimizing product listings, content, and visuals. The supervisor coordinates with marketing and platform teams to track sales, conversion rates, and ROI, developing strategies to boost traffic and revenue.

Responsibilities also include managing platform fees, advertising, and fulfillment costs, offering recommendations for pricing and margin optimization. The supervisor works closely with retail managers to align online and offline strategies, supporting O2O initiatives.

The role involves maintaining relationships with platform account managers (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok), staying updated on platform policies, and improving customer experience by handling escalations and feedback. Additionally, the supervisor leads live-streaming initiatives, explores new sales channels, and develops self-owned platforms. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for communication with stakeholders.

Brand Coverage

  • Oversee e-commerce for Vivo and DJI.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign alignment.

Team Management

  • Lead Ecommerce Executives; track performance and delegate tasks.

  • Conduct team training to improve platform knowledge.

  • Set and monitor KPIs.

Sales & Operations

  • Optimize product listings, content, and visual assets.

  • Coordinate with marketing and platform teams for campaign execution.

  • Track sales, conversion rates, and ROI.

  • Identify trends and develop initiatives to drive traffic.

Cost Control & Profitability

  • Monitor platform fees, advertising, and fulfillment costs.

  • Analyze monthly P&L reports and recommend pricing and margin optimizations.

Retail Coordination

  • Align online and offline performance with retail store managers.

  • Support O2O (online-to-offline) initiatives and inventory sync.

Platform Relationship Management

  • Liaise with platform account managers (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok).

  • Stay updated on platform policies and opportunities.

Customer Experience

  • Manage customer escalations and order fulfillment issues.

  • Monitor feedback and implement improvements.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for management.

  • Use data insights to refine listings, campaigns, and pricing.

Live-streaming and Sales Channel Expansion

  • Live-streaming: Expand live-streaming initiatives by building a team for influencer live-streaming and self-broadcasting.

  • New Platforms: Explore new sales channels and expand existing ones.

  • Self-built Platforms: Develop and manage your own e-commerce website and platform.

  • Market Expansion: Open new brand markets and explore partnerships.

  • Delegate specific tasks as needed to ensure the achievement of team and business goals.

Language & Cultural Adaptability

  • Communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

  • Adapt to Chinese corporate culture (communication, workflow, organizational structure).

Requirements

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Digital Media, or any related field.

  • Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

  • Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, E-commerce Platforms, or Data Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify, Shopee/Lazada Certified programs) are an added advantage.
