Overview

Salary: Up to $6,500 + transport allowance
Work Location: Clients’ Sites (own transport is needed)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday); 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday (5.5-day work week)

We are looking for a Safety Officer cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO) to join our team, ensuring safety and environmental compliance across our construction sites. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in maintaining workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures on-site
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for site staff
• Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
• Perform duties as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO), ensuring environmental and hygiene measures are in place
• Prepare safety reports, incident investigations, and documentation
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and authorities to resolve safety and environmental issues

Requirements

• Valid WSHO (Workplace Safety & Health Officer) Certification
• Valid ECO (Environmental Control Officer) Certification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and environmental requirements
