Job description

Subject description: This subject aims to equip students with an understanding of fundamental computing knowledge. In addition, the subject introduces key cyber security concepts and principles. Topics covered include:

  1. Fundamental computing content such as the history of computing and the evolution of technology;
  2. Concepts in information processing, computer architecture, and operating systems;
  3. Cyber security topics including forms of attack, detection, prevention, cyber security policy, and risk assessment.

Job Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a related discipline from a reputable university;
  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level (preferred);
  • 5 years of relevant work experience (an added advantage);
  • Applicant must be available to teach day classes, night classes, or both.
