Job description

Job scope:

1. Reports to the team leader for day-to-day work assignment.
2. Achieve the manufacturing schedule according to assigned tasks.
3. Set up and operate lathe machines, completing machining tasks efficiently and accurately.
4. Ensure the quality of the parts produced.
5. Perform self-inspection on finished workpieces.
6. Prepare and arrange raw materials, tooling, fixtures, and programs for setup.
7. Maintain good housekeeping, safety standards, and perform general machine maintenance.
8. Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.
9. Be able to perform rotating and weekend shift work at short notice.
10. Participate actively in the development of HSE matters, including hazard identification, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
11. Ensure all work activities conform to the HSE policy, objectives, procedures, and legal requirements.
12. Carry out additional duties as reasonably required.

Job requirements:

• Relevant Industrial Training Certification or NITEC in engineering discipline.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• OCTG experience is an advantage.
