Job description

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for a Finance Executive (Japanese Speaking).

Responsibilities:

• Handle financial operations including payments, accounts payable (AP), and/or General Ledger (GL), and assist in financial closing

• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial schedules/reports such as management reports, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, corporate tax and GST reporting, audit schedules and intercompany reconciliation.

• Coordinate and communicate with Japan counterparts on financial reporting and review in Japanese.

• Ensure compliance of standard operating policies.

• To assist in adhoc duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent

• At least 3 years of experience in finance and accounting.

• Proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese Speaking counterparts.
