Job description

We are seeking a skilled Ship Repair Assistant Engineer/Engineer to manage day-to-day operations and coordination of harbourcraft/medium-sized vessels' dockings and repairs in Singapore, including anchorage repairs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage service job execution and coordinate with the Shipyard Production Team, Purchasing, Technical, Classification Societies, Ship Designers, etc.
  2. Liaise with customers such as Ship Managers, Ship Owners, Agents, and others.
  3. Prepare quotations for tariff and non-tariff jobs, purchase orders, tools & equipment lists, procurement of spares/materials, and final invoicing to clients.
  4. Coordinate transportation of contractors/suppliers, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, including anchorage.
  5. Plan daily work for the shipyard team (small workforce, approximately 10 personnel), including manpower planning and reporting.
  6. Answer customer queries and provide remote technical support.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in marine/shipyard/ship repairs is preferred.
  3. Experience in coordinating marine service work, especially afloat repairs, is an advantage.

About the Role:
