Job description

The function of the Customer Sales & Service Representative is to provide direct support to the Sr. Strategic Business Development Manager and Account Managers across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, offering a unique opportunity to pioneer and grow our Singapore entity.

Primary focus is on Customer Service, with the role requiring versatility and willingness to take on various responsibilities during the early stage setup.

Essential Duties
  1. Partner with Account Managers to provide sales quotes.
  2. Process incoming inquiries into the company's sales system.
  3. Quote customers using a working knowledge of the product.
  4. Successfully achieve budgeted Service Center sales goals.
  5. Assist A/R personnel in creating and establishing new accounts and follow up on collections.
  6. Coordinate with Account Managers and Service Center management to keep account activities updated.
  7. Monitor delivery date commitments and expedite where appropriate.
  8. Monitor customer-specific inventory for sales order fulfillment.
  9. Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers for new and sales growth opportunities.
  10. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  11. Provide technical/service support to account management, service center management, and internal and external customers.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Have resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, internet, and email.
  • Must be able to successfully utilize the company software.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline; Engineering preferred.
  • Periodic adjustments may be needed to meet international customer requirements.
  • Remote work until the office is established; on-site work required once established.
