Job description

The Role

The role reports directly to the team lead. He or She is responsible for supporting Professional Engineers in the design and supervision of new erections, additions, and alterations (A&A) to existing buildings, earth retaining and stabilizing systems, specialist designs for facades, glass, demolition works, and temporary works. The role may also require conducting site inspections.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works;
2. Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authority submissions;
3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for projects;
4. Supervise and inspect construction works.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution;
• Strong fundamentals and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design are advantageous;
• Knowledge of design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Plaxis, Prota, and Tedds is an advantage;
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply;
• For senior positions, at least 3 years of design experience is required;
• Passing FEE 1 and FEE 2 is advantageous.
