Job description

Responsibilities:

• Set and execute directions for the respective Programme Managers and academic staff, in line with the objectives established by the Institute.

• Manage operations of the Singapore campus as required and monitor the standards and quality of programmes and products (course curriculum and notes) and delivery of programmes (teaching quality standards), both locally and overseas.

• Represent the Institute in ensuring academic quality assurance during visits by partner university representatives.

• Conduct interviews and make recommendations on lecturing staff members of the overseas campuses and assist on overseas matters as necessary.

• Assist in establishing standard operating procedures on all matters to facilitate communications between the overseas campuses and the institution.

• Any other duties as may be required by the position or assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• PhD or DBA in Business or Education with at least 5 years of work experience in higher education.

• Experience in policy and strategy development in the higher education context.

• Experience in preparing detailed management reports and/ or procedural documentation.

• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders and manage both operational and academic matters to pervade an atmosphere of scholarship and academic vigour.

• A forward-looking and positive outlook with a strong commitment to service improvement.

• Strong leadership skills and substantial experience in leading a team.

• Willing to travel overseas
