Job description

Performing the overall marketing and technical support for Kawasaki standby gas turbines in Southeast Asia (SEA) territory as the main point of communication with our Parent Company in Japan. The coverage of job scope includes but not limited to:

  • Search potential customers including but not limited to end users, engineering consultant and dealers, and develop the new channel / relationships
  • Search candidates for a local packager and provide technical support to design Kawasaki standby gas turbines package
  • Contact window of local packager and potential customers in SEA region and coordinate necessary action with Kawasaki head office and factories in Japan
  • Strengthen relation with local partners and packager and Japanese companies in SEA region
  • Serve as the technical point for any inquiries for Kawasaki standby gas turbines and provides technical expertise and develops solutions at the stage of preliminary proposal
  • Conduct market research about competitor’s sales activities, offered prices, maintenance scheme, etc
  • Engage in monthly regular online sales meeting with Kawasaki head office sales & marketing team
  • Collect relevant information to explore new business opportunities in SEA region, promote Kawasaki products to improve corporate brand awareness

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development or sales of standby generator products for datacenter market is necessary
  • Minimum 5 years experience with design, technical specifications, estimating experience in datacenter projects for the power generation products
  • Graduate with Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical
  • Excellent negotiation, searching and execution skill of projects
  • Proactive, positive attitude, open mindset and patient effort
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within the Japanese Companies
  • Proficient in Japanese language (written & spoken) is necessary to report & communicate independently with our Parent Company in Japan
  • Possess Business Japanese Test score above 700 or equivalent is required for daily communication with Parent Company in Japan
  • Willing to travel intensively within SEA region
