Job description

Position: Account Manager (SALES / LED Lighting Industry) - Up to $6,000

Location: Commonwealth (6 minutes’ walk to Commonwealth MRT Station)

Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

Salary (commensurate with experience): Basic salary Up to $6,000 + Performance Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Industry: Electronics Mechanical / R&D and Manufacturing

Main Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop new market opportunities related to the LED lighting industry both locally and regionally, including follow-up for expansion.
2. Actively source new leads.
3. Work closely with the sales team and engineers to understand product selling points and prepare effective presentations for customers.
4. Plan, implement, and execute marketing and sales activities to achieve business objectives.
5. Handle and manage the full spectrum of customer accounts, from sales and deliveries to collections.
6. Provide weekly updates to higher management on activities and progress.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, or any related discipline.
2. Knowledge of electronics or electrical engineering is an advantage.
3. 1-3 years of experience in the LED lighting industry with LED knowledge.
4. Experience in interior design, lighting, or architecture firms is preferable.
5. Dynamic and enthusiastic about LED lighting and systems.
6. Business connections in the lighting industry are advantageous.
7. Possess a Class 3 Driving License.
8. Bilingual in English and Mandarin for business communication with Mandarin-speaking associates.
