Senior Accountant

An international asset management organisation is URGENTLY hiring a senior Accountant in their Singapore office. Please note NO WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP is provided.

Key Responsibilities:-

• In charge of effective and efficient operation of trade and intercompany receivables and payables function.
• Manages the financial accounting and reporting, including statutory, regulatory and corporate tax and GST reporting.
• Supports financial analysis and reporting to senior management, including budgeting and planning.
• Involves in continuous process improvement initiatives and implement best practices and automation to achieve operational efficiencies and effective risk management.
• Takes part in ad-hoc activities and projects.

Key Requirements: -

• Good degree in Accountancy or ACCA from a recognised University internationally
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the banking and financial services industry
• Recent experience in asset management or buy-side industry (Required)
• Proven analytical skills with hands-on experience in managing and interpreting large datasets.
• Detail-oriented and reliable in producing accurate and timely work.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Independent self-starter and team player.
