Job description

Responsibilities:

• Designing, supporting, coordinating, managing, and operating internal data and voice communication systems, including specialized components of networks such as Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and voice systems.

• Planning, configuring, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure, which may consist of routers, switches, gateways, firewalls, multi-function switches, end offices, signaling transfer points, private branch exchanges (PBXs), voicemail systems, call management systems (CMS), and network security devices.

• Hands-on experience with the deployment of Cisco and Aruba switches, routers, access points (APs), and Ruckus switches and APs.

• Knowledge of routing protocols and wireless access points.

• Preferably experienced in deploying networks ranging from small to large scale.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.

• 2+ years of corporate experience in network switching, routing, firewalls, wireless networking,

• Familiarity with local area network systems and technical communication issues.

• Experience in network security and architecture.

• CCNA or Security+ certification preferred.
