Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient and cost-effective functioning of restaurant(s).
- Attain and exceed the pre-determined budgeted revenue through efficient service and up-selling.
- Ensure correct revenue charging via the P.O.S. machine, including control of guest checks, voids, new item input, and closing reports.
- Participate in daily Food and Beverage briefings and monthly revenue forecasting meetings.
- Develop and train employees through daily service briefings, discussing technical service matters.
- Discuss all promotions, including content, pricing, reservation, and duration.
- Monitor and control breakages and loss that may impact costs.
- Manage payroll costs for full-time and casual staff, and roster staff according to business needs, seeking approval for casual labor requisitions.
- Oversee team conduct, and make recommendations on promotions, transfers, and improvements.
- Propose operational changes to increase profit potential and reduce losses.
- Maintain grooming, appearance, discipline, safety, and administrative standards for the team.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are met.
- Formulate yearly operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Assist in planning and executing private and club events, coordinating with sales and events teams.
- Participate in menu planning to align offerings with themes, guest preferences, and operations.
- Foster good relationships between kitchen and service staff for a positive work environment.
- Maintain high visibility during service for smooth operations and guest engagement.
- Engage actively in team training and development, coaching, and motivating staff.
- Collaborate with Culinary Team on menu reviews and enhancements.
- Partner with Culinary Team to create bespoke menus and service styles for Members.
- Ensure service standards, positive Membership engagement, and gather feedback.
- Achieve positive results in the Members Annual Survey.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
