Wealth and Personal Bankinghas four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the bestof HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth andretail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking &Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & DigitalTransformation.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team asan Assistant Vice President, Operations and Controls.Principal ResponsibilitiesAs part of first line of defence, identify and mitigate potential areasof risk in Branch Operations and Omnichannel Experience which may requireescalation e.g.: MSII to aid in the strong governance of the WPB riskcontrol Work with stakeholders in implementation of solutions for riskmanagementRegular review potential risk areas in Branch Operations andOmnichannel Experience through forums with stakeholders to mitigateoperational riskMaintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timelyimplementation of internal and external audit points together with anyissues raised by external regulatorsLead/ participate in both Network / bank initiated projectsWork with branch CSMs improve customer experience in processes,systems, operations and administration without compromising on businessrisk and demonstrating the use of CAREWork with the wider teams to deliver the Branch Operations andOmnichannel Experience ‘s Performance KPIsEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues inthe wider WPB businessesFoster an environment of teamwork, ensuring collaboration throughoutthe organization and teamUphold HSBC value behaviour at all times Mitigate operational risk through regular review of resourcedistribution across locations to ensure a balanced allocation of staffresourcesActive involvement in the resource allocation for business expansionand development to achieve operational efficiency Show more Show lessTagged as: remote, remote job, virtual, Virtual Job,virtual position, Work at Home, work from home
