Job description

We are a fast-growing organization seeking a meticulous and driven Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate data entry for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense tracking for local and regional entities.

  • Conduct bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Ledger, including Right of Use Assets, and ensure proper depreciation schedules.

  • Support audit processes by preparing documentation, schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Manage inventory ledger using Excel, perform costing analysis, and monitor stock valuations.

  • Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, financial statements, and management reports.

  • Administer staff claims and process expense reimbursements efficiently.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

  • Support tax compliance, including GST/VAT filings and coordination with tax authorities.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

  • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the finance department’s objectives.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Candidates with LCCI full certificate, ACCA Level 2, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or related roles. Preference for candidates with experience in inventory accounting for manufacturing firms (using Excel).

  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with strong analytical and organizational abilities. Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Communication skills with our stakeholders in China is a must.

  • Attributes: Highly meticulous, proactive, and able to thrive in a small office environment.
