Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide trade finance subject matter expertise to collate and translate business functional requirements for trade digitalization projects.
  2. Leverage trade channels' functional and technical knowledge to drive development, implementation, and adoption of trade channels.
  3. Support onboarding of fintech/ecosystem platform partners and transaction processing vendors, and prepare Business Requirement Documents for trade digital capabilities within Mizuho.
  4. Manage trade digitalization projects from planning to user acceptance testing and stakeholder approvals.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders within GTBD, technology, and operations teams across the Asia Pacific and Oceania regions, including projects like SEIBI and ISO20022.
  6. Ensure successful adoption of operating model changes related to digital trade projects for seamless rollout.
  7. Act as liaison between Country, Regional, and Head Office stakeholders.
  8. Identify market trends in Trade, especially in digital trade finance, and update the product suite accordingly.
  9. Conduct training on trade products and channels.
  10. Assist the Head of Trade Product Development in executing the Trade Digitalization agenda for GTBD APAC.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills for working with various stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of trade-related guidelines (e.g., trade industry practices, ICC Guidelines).
  • Preferably experience in trade channels management, trade transformation, and project management.
  • Minimum of 12 years of banking-related experience.
