Civil and Structural Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform civil and structural engineering design for property developments

• Support in preparing engineering calculations, drawings and technical specifications

• Assist in project planning, coordination and execution to ensure timely delivery

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities on design and submission matters

• Attend site meetings, inspections and resolve site issues with guidance from the senior engineer

• Ensure all designs and construction activities adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards and company quality standards

• Provide technical support for tender documentation and construction phases

• Carry out administrative and documentation tasks, including reports and correspondence

• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management Team

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferably in a real estate or construction industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders

• Experience in site coordination and project execution is advantageous

• Knowledge of local building codes, authority submission processes and industry practices

• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE or equivalent

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and eager to grow in a dynamic environment
