What You will do

Leads across the organization Product Management ideas and activities.

Participates in or leads the analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts in support of new product development engineering.

Coordinates all phases of new product development, including research and design, financing, pricing, marketing, sales and distribution. Develops overall marketing objectives and strategy and further product development.

Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.

Acts as a funnel for product development ideas and knows how to influence key people in order to realize commercial opportunities.

Performs analyses and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.

Researches market conditions to determine potential sales of a product. Writes profitability analysis.


Responsibilities

  • Participates on project/program teams from design to delivery of fully developed products that are ready for customer use.
  • Work with product managers to define product features and functional requirements by interpreting local regulations
  • Investigates facts and reviews problems during the design and planning phases, displaying an understanding of products and their functionality
  • May be responsible for feasibility studies and field trials management.
  • Interrogate and challenge business existing operational paradigms and business use cases to look for optimizations and improvements, incorporating these into the requirements and specifications you produce
  • Collaborate with the Application Development team to ensure the functional goals of our software are always captured and business user experience is considered
  • Provide guidance on the creation of test scenarios to the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the full suite of functional as well as non-functional use cases are validated
  • Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
  • Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans.
  • Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets).

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience Required: At least 8 years.
  • Special Qualifications: Project Management or other related Certification
