We are seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager to develop sound commercial strategies and partner growth plans, focusing on new businesses in the OEMs, Grab & Go, and Food Service segments within Retail.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Formulate, present, implement, and review propositions that drive our strategic priorities across all channels, leveraging food OEMs to develop finished and semi-finished Ready-To-Eat/Ready-To-Heat/Ready-To-Cook SKUs.
  • Establish OEM partnerships and new business models for innovative product/category concepts.
  • Set up the legal and financial frameworks for new partnerships, with support from internal legal, finance, and category teams.
  • Assist the sales team with selected partners by helping implement innovations for Key Accounts and defining RTM priorities related to new product launches.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Engagement Centre (CEC), in-house Chefs & Baristas, and external chef consultants to import and support new concepts from the Out-Of-Home (OOH) trade. When applicable, work with start-ups and the R&D Accelerator to identify new collaboration opportunities, product development, and M&A activities.
  • Regularly measure the outcomes of initiatives and address any P&L discrepancies. These models will require unique blueprints (combined P&L), necessitating close collaboration with the finance team.
  • Lead by identifying opportunities and guiding category and sales management on implementation and maximizing these initiatives. Assess the maturity level of each initiative before passing it to the relevant channel sales team.
Success Factors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Marketing & Sales, with 5-7 years specifically in the foodservice industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and PR skills.
  • Good understanding of finance and P&L management.
  • Passion for the Out-of-Home and Food B2B2C industry.
