A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Analyser House/Shelter/Rack Integration projects. The role involves planning, execution, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and substantial experience in project management, especially with mega projects.
Summary
Responsible for the Project management & Control activities for the total scope of Analyser House/Shelter/Rack Integration projects.
Responsibilities:
Overall Project planning, schedule and executing the projects with time, budget and customer’s expectation
Main focal point for the Technical / Commercial matters with EPC / End-users
Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of work to meet targets
Stake Holder Management including participating in Project Review Board and Sponsors Meeting regularly
Coordinate internal resources and 3rd party vendors for the flawless execution of all projects
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Ensure that work are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to project scope, schedule and cost using appropriate verification techniques
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Control & monitor the procurement activities and timely delivery to Factory Production/ Integration
Control & Monitor Factory Production/ Integration in line with the overall project schedule
Negotiate with vendors to get the best price
Manage multiple nation of customers, vendors and internal team members
Responsible for the project close out including site support activities.
Willing to travel to regional office for project execution
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Project Management experience in Control & automation & Analyser House delivery.
Exposure on handling Mega project (More than 5MUS$) with international EPCs / End-users
Hands-on professional with strong relevant technical competence, good leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills.
Stake Holder Management skills
PMI Certification will be an added advantage,
Able to multi-task to meet the project delivery requirements.
Able to travel to overseas on a short notice as per project requirements.
