Job description

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

Facilities Management
  • Lead FM operations (Hard & Soft Services) across Distribution Centres and Warehouses.
  • Ensure all building systems, utilities (water, power, chillers, MHEs), and services are maintained and operational.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance using a Work Order system.
  • Establish and enforce standards for housekeeping, pest control, security, and workplace safety.
  • Mentor FM teams in leadership, collaboration, ISO compliance, and audits.
  • Develop training matrix to support skill development and cross-site deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and action planning.
  • Manage facility upgrades, renovations, and project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements; liaise with authorities and PEs for licenses and inspections.
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets; monitor KPIs and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct internal audits for documentation and operational compliance.
  • Implement and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Fire Safety & WSH
  • Manage Fire Safety and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) programs.
  • Ensure readiness of fire protection systems and compliance with SCDF/MOM requirements.
  • Lead Fire Safety Committee meetings and attend Safety Committee meetings.
  • Oversee FSMs in Fire Certificate applications, emergency planning, drills, and compliance.
  • Conduct fire drills and Table-Top Exercises; form CERT and First Aid teams.
Support to HOD & Strategic Initiatives
  • Support new business initiatives with FM infrastructure planning and costing.
  • Conduct regular meetings with DCs to align FM operations with user needs.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and team performance.
  • Represent FM in Transport meetings and interdepartmental discussions.
  • Review and approve procurement requests and vendor quotations.
  • Lead crisis management processes and escalation protocols.
  • Support sustainability initiatives (e.g., recycling, solar energy, energy monitoring).
  • Manage VPC applications for internal and vendor vehicles.
  • Plan and execute A&A works, warehouse setups, relocations, and office renovations
