Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for market expansion, both locally and internationally.

• Work with Senior Management to define selection criteria and negotiation terms for partnerships (e.g., licensing, joint ventures).

• Identify new business opportunities and recommend product/service improvements.

• Conduct market research (customer insights, trends, competition) to guide strategy.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (consultants, government bodies, industry associations, academia) to drive business growth.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop automation solutions that meet customer needs and profitability goals.

• Assist in pricing strategies, cost modeling, and responses to RFQs/proposals.

• Lead marketing initiatives (trade shows, conferences, seminars, promotional materials) and provide insights on market trends.

• Organize and deliver presentations, info sessions, and networking events to strengthen business relationships.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development.

• Knowledge of automation technology or equipment contract manufacturing is an added advantage.
