About the role

Reporting to the Procurement Director, this full-time Procurement Manager role is responsible for overseeing procurement operations for Ingersoll-Rand in the West Region. You will be a key member of the procurement team, driving strategic sourcing initiatives that support company growth and operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead procurement of materials, goods, and services for the West Region, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supplier relationships, negotiate favorable contract terms, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  3. Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities.
  5. Oversee the work of the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  6. Ensure procurement policies, procedures, and controls are adhered to.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  1. 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within manufacturing or logistics industries.
  2. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills to drive cost optimization and process improvements.
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  4. Proficient in procurement software and data analysis tools.
  5. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  6. Familiarity with procurement best practices, regulations, and industry standards.
