Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients requiring precision manufacturing services.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to proposal preparation, and engage in negotiations with clients.
  • Negotiate terms and finalize sales agreements to secure orders.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company services.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer accounts while seeking out new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a weekly sales plan, providing regular reports on sales activities to management.
  • Effectively manage ongoing opportunities to achieve and surpass sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in the precision engineering industry, with a demonstrated history of successfully securing and managing substantial manufacturing orders.
  • Solid grasp of precision manufacturing processes and technologies, with practical proficiency in machining processes, providing a competitive edge.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, facilitating effective communication with clients and production teams.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, essential for driving business growth and securing deals.
