Job Description & Requirements
  • Review new projects to determine if special tools, jigs, and fixtures are required due to product complexity prior to acceptance for production.
  • Design jigs and fixtures to aid in the manufacturing process.
  • Review and study customer products for welding processes or GD&T requirements.
  • Plan, involve, train, and implement new machines/equipment.
  • Monitor, identify, develop, and implement improvements in process control.
Education:
  • Possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Skills:
  • Good working knowledge of 2D/3D software (AutoCAD / Solid Edge), sheet metal, and assembly.
  • ERP knowledge for item, BOM, and routing; familiar with MS Office.
  • Familiar with process cutting, bending, welding, and painting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent and a good team player.
Experience:
  • Experience in sheet metal processing, project handling, and design jobs.
  • Design of jigs and fixtures, process improvement studies.
