An established industry player is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee projects from inception to completion. This role involves liaising with stakeholders, managing site installations, and providing technical support, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Execute projects to ensure work is completed within the schedule.
Liaise with stakeholders to carry out the project scope.
Monitor progress and lead Factory Acceptance Tests with customers/distributors.
Ensure all documentation is endorsed, coordinate site testing, and provide technical support.
Assist in generating project cost estimates and submit monthly project status reports.
Support 3rd party products & drawings for submittals, and participate in continuous improvement.
Work with cross-functional teams to update project status in weekly meetings.
Manage site installation work to ensure completion within the timeline.
Coordinate with sub-contractors on site installations, drawings, and materials submittals.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Familiarity with generators, control systems, and relevant standards/codes.
Provide standby support and 24/7 emergency customer support.
Deliver technical support, site recovery, maintenance, installation, commissioning, and on-site training.
Generate service reports, investigate, and handle product failure complaints.
Identify root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
Review damage extent and manage warranty claims from distributors.
Maintain relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved.
Develop and update service training materials and documents.
Provide training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skills.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
At least 5 years of marine field servicing experience.
Ability to travel within the APAC region (10-15%).
Experience with power generation products, electrical systems, and control systems.
