A leading company in the Marine/Offshore industry is seeking a Purchasing Officer to handle procurement activities for headquarters and regional offices. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and performing cost-price analysis to ensure the best pricing and quality of goods. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience and a Nitec or Diploma in any discipline.
Basic up to $3200
Working days: 5 days a week, from 8am to 5pm

Location: Redhill Area
Handle and support all purchasing activities for headquarters (HQ) and regional offices.
Manage suppliers, gather quotations for internal sales colleagues, and coordinate all import shipments.
Negotiate with existing vendors for better pricing, delivery lead times, and develop new supplier relationships.
Perform cost-price analysis and implement cost reduction programs with existing suppliers.
Purchase consumables, equipment, spare parts, etc., from local or overseas vendors.
Establish and negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective, high-quality goods and services.
Coordinate all import shipments from suppliers to HQ and overseas branch offices.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Marine / Offshore industry.
Nitec / Diploma in any discipline.
