Job summary

A leading company in the lighting industry is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to manage invoicing, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure smooth accounts operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and basic CAD knowledge, contributing to efficient financial processes and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling invoices and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Knowledge of GST submissions is a plus.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare invoices for customers and external parties.
  2. Prepare Delivery Orders (DO) for clients and suppliers for incoming and outgoing goods.
  3. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  4. Prepare Credit Notes for clients and suppliers.
  5. Maintain traceability of Debtors and Creditors for the company.
  6. Coordinate with freight forwarders for quotations on air and sea shipments of incoming supply materials for light fixtures.
  7. Prepare documents for quarterly GST submissions to the in-house accountant.
  8. Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Director.
  9. Generate simple quotations.
  10. Process payments through digital banking for clients and suppliers.
  11. Maintain supplier and client credit facility terms.
  12. Basic knowledge of CAD drawing is an advantage.
