Job summary
A leading organization is seeking a Procurement Specialist to provide advisory and administration support for the tender process. The role involves managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and assisting in the implementation of a new ERP system. - Provide advisory and administration support and governance to the tender process for internal users
- Activate timely renewal and award for purchases directly handled by Procurement based on best price and terms
- Assist with transformational changes for Procurement processes as a Key Team Member in new ERP System
- Ensure tender process is efficiently conducted and guided by the procurement policies & procedures with governance and compliance within set KPIs
- Ensure renewals and award for purchases are done in a timely manner so that users of the product or services are not impacted
- Ensure new ERP system addresses gaps in user experience and improve efficiency for users.
- Procurement related admin work, vendor creation, stationery store management, liaise with users and vendors for stock in and stock out.
- Manage the Procurement of common items used by the organisation, from sourcing till goods receiving.
- Assisting or guiding users on procurement related enquiries, and monthly report generation.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain or Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of procurement system or SAP would be an advantage.
