Your key responsibilities

The SAP Data Migration Lead oversees and manages the entire data migration process for SAP implementation projects. Responsibilities include developing and executing migration strategies, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring data quality and integrity, designing and implementing ETL processes, conducting validation and testing, and resolving migration issues. Strong knowledge of SAP data structures, migration tools, SQL, and leadership skills are essential.

Skills and attributes for success

• Lead data migration efforts in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics projects.
• Conduct workshops on data migration approach, data mapping, transformation, and cleansing.
• Manage data extraction, cleaning, mapping, and loading into SAP S4HANA.
• Design and manage ETL processes using tools like LSMW, LTMC.
• Lead the data migration team and coordinate with client data leads.
• Develop strategies for data mapping and transformation.
• Deliver documentation, functional specifications, data mapping templates, and test scripts.
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot migration issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide project updates.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with 6-8 years of industry experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP data migration projects experience.
• Experience with SAP data migration, especially Finance and Projects.
• Knowledge of data transformation, mapping, SAP configuration for migration.
• Experience in consulting/professional services industry.
• Experience with SAP Data Migration and FIORI apps.
• Experience with third-party migration tools and Microsoft Dynamics integration.
• Understanding of integration best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
