Trade Marketing Executive
This role is highly operational in nature, focuses on the areas of Store Planning, Visual Merchandising, Window Animation and Events, and will report directly to the Managing Director.
Job Descriptions
Store Planning
- Manage liaison and follow-up on the design and/or development of all retail stores (e.g. new projects, upgrades, maintenance and store closures), respecting closely the time frame assigned.
- Ensure store designs and implementation are aligned with the brand's image, corporate guidelines set by HQ, and customer experience objectives.
- Collaborate with selected contractor(s) to ensure accurate execution of store designs and layouts, maintaining consistency with the approved plans.
- Manage liaison and follow-ups on the design process of store layouts and/or fixture plans with contractor(s) for HQ submission and review/approval.
- Work closely with retailers, contractors, and/or vendors to ensure accurate execution of all retail stores.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure that design objectives are achieved and identify areas for improvement.
- Take ownership of POS materials (e.g. existing and new orders), work closely with SCM department in managing the inventory and distribution to the boutique and local and overseas retailers.
- Place orders and manage budgets.
Visual Merchandising & Window Animations
- Plan and execute visual merchandising (e.g. POSMs used, showcase/window displays) for the boutique and all retail stores.
- Ensure visual merchandising of the boutique and all retail stores is aligned with corporate guidelines set by HQ and is aesthetically pleasing.
- Work closely with the various internal departments and boutique team to ensure consistency of display materials.
- Work closely with HQ, the boutique team and retailers to develop window animations for strong visibility of the brand among consumers and drive traffic to the boutique and all retail stores, aligning with GTM and/or product launches and seasonal animations.
- Place orders and manage budgets
Events
- Support Regional Marketing & Communications Manager in liaising with vendors and 3rd parties, and internal customers to ensure that events requirements are attended to in a timely manner.
- Manage where there are VM, WA and Trade Marketing aspects during the development and execution of the events.
Miscellaneous
- Update Trade Marketing aspects in the monthly Marketing Activities Report
- Ensure activities are maintained within budget allocated, update monthly Expense Tracker and ensure compliance of financial regulations (i.e. submission of invoices for payment processing)
- Any additionall ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant retail experience in a luxury brand, high-end fashion, jewellery and/or watch industry or in a similar capacity.
- Self-starter, who can take initiative and ownership of each of the areas.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Project management and multi-tasking capabilities and time sensitive
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Team player, positive thinker and creative problem solver.
- High integrity with good ethics and values.
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Programs.
