Job Description:

Responsible for the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) sourcing to Purchasing Order (PO) issuance to support the needs of Business Units and meet agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procure goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  2. Conduct sourcing/ competitive quotation to ensure that the best value is achieved for the company
  3. Evaluate, negotiate, and award orders to selected suppliers
  4. Ensure that goods and services are delivered timely
  5. Achieve the Service Level Agreements (SLA) of Shared Services Centre (SSC)
  6. Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures
  7. Resolve all price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
  8. Build, maintain, and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts on work process efficiency

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Procurement as a Buyer
  • SAP hands-on experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and planning skills
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced shared services environment

Working hours: Mon - Fri / 8am to 5.30pm
