Job Purpose
As an Infrastructure Lead, you are responsible for managing the overall infrastructure posture, Wifi networks, data backups and application support for RUN and Growth initiatives. You are also responsible for managing team members to run the day-to-day IT Operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise daily computer center operation for Local Area Network, including their security; Supervise and assist in the system / security administration of the applications & Local Area Network, Administrating the activate directory, firewall, router and EPO endpoint system.
- Provide support for IT infrastructure for both system & network
- Provide support in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Linux , HCI (Virtual Servers) computer networking and PC troubleshooting; Administrate O365 and Azure related services on cloud.
- Perform daily IT operational activity on application system & user administration. IT Support on PCs, printer and setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings including network connectivity of all network equipment
- Perform health checks, vulnerability assessments and hardening activities on infrastructure; Making periodic checks to detect and remove unauthorised software. To resolve problems and to collect the technical data and to perform first level problem analysis of Server and PC malfunctions.
- Manage DNS server for DNS hosting
- Provide support for external web applications hosted locally. E.g., SSL binding CSR generation
- Install and set up Windows Server, Linux Server, others as and when new hardware is purchased
- Maintain renewal of contracts for hardware and software support/services including SSL/ domain renewal/encryption key renewal/asset tracking inventory
- Mentor, manage and assign tasks to team members
- Create and maintain network users/permissions
- Propose upgrading of software and hardware system, including migration for software or hardware when is EOL (End of life) to the Management when need arises
- Liaise with software, hardware vendors and obtain the best commercial deals
- Perform cloud setup and configuration for new tenants
- Forecast and plan budget
- Test disaster data recovery program; Restore systems and data in times of disaster
- Support Business Continuity Plan program (IT side) to plan, execute; Be familiar with Acronis Cloud Disaster Recovery or any of Cloud Disaster Recovery
- Ensure the adequate backup of all data files and programs in servers, to facilitate prompt recovery from data loss (by human error or PC malfunctions)
- Perform regular system patching and upgrades to improve system to meet security compliance
- Act as a backup for administrating and managing Office365 applications
- Create and maintain user manual and standard operating procedure
- Support internal and external audits
- Undertake any other assignments as allocated by the Head of Division and the Management
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimally 10 years of experience in infrastructure services support
- Possess certifications in Microsoft Certified System Engineer and ITIL Foundation
- O365 Azure Certificate
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, Windows 10, Windows Servers (2000, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016), Exchange Server (2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016) and Microsoft office suites (2000, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016), Windows Exchange Server, Hyper –V, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, VMware
- Possess excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills
