Job Requirements:
Having a diploma or higher in accounting and certificates in construction technology or construction management.
Having over 8 years of management experience in the local construction industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing the company's strategic plans to ensure long-term growth and profitability.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including project management, human resources, and financial management.
- Understanding tax regulations in Singapore's construction industry and following up on various tax filings.
- Proficient in preparing financial reports and monitoring the company's daily cash flow to ensure effective fund utilization.
- liaising with banks to secure financing for the company.
- Ensuring close communication with the general contractor to facilitate smooth project progress and timely payment collection.
- Recruiting, training, and managing staff to ensure efficient operations and professional development.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintaining good communication and collaboration with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Overseeing the company's financial status, developing budgets, and monitoring costs.
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards, managing risks, and implementing necessary compliance measures.
- Participating in business development and marketing activities to expand the business and identify new opportunities.
- Handling internal affairs and decision-making within the company, and reporting performance and progress to the board of directors or shareholders.
- Representing the company at industry conferences, events, and public relations activities to enhance visibility and reputation.
- Inspecting construction sites to monitor work progress and leading key management personnel such as QS and project managers.
