Job summary

MINDEF is seeking an HR Manager responsible for strategic workforce planning and HR Master-planning. The role involves managing Job Evaluation frameworks and overseeing HR Shared Service delivery. Job description

What the role is:

You are responsible for driving strategic workforce planning and Human Resource (HR) Master-planning for the HR Job Family in MINDEF/SAF, while managing Job Evaluation frameworks and overseeing HR Shared Service delivery.

What you will be working on:
  1. Drive strategic workforce planning and HR Master-planning to meet operational demands
  2. Maintain and enhance Job Evaluation framework to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  3. Develop and implement flexible manpower contracting mechanisms and frameworks
  4. Oversee HR Shared Service provider's delivery of payroll, benefits, claims processing and allowance services
  5. Negotiate and manage cost-effective HR services with service providers
  6. Challenge: Balancing stakeholders' conflicting priorities while maintaining organisational objectives
What we are looking for:
  • At least 6 years of working experience in HR, strategy, and planning domains
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Korn Ferry Job Evaluation Methodology is advantageous
  • Knowledge in procurement process is advantageous
