Quality Manager (Semiconductor / Advanced Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems and activities.
2. Define and specify standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of construction and future operation management.
3. Review engineering designs to ensure quality requirements and considerations are met.
4. Assist construction support areas in data gathering and analysis.
5. Manage multi-disciplined semiconductor projects or relevant industries (strongly preferred).
6. Implement construction quality management during activities.
7. Collaborate with the core team to perform audits validating Contractors’ QA/QC activities.
8. Serve as focal point for specific disciplines, with excellent familiarity with project scope and drawings.
9. Review and follow up on Contractors’ QA/QC plans and quality documentation, verifying execution per latest IFC standards.
10. Review and track Contractors’ Quality records and NCR items until closure.
11. Support and coordinate mock-ups.
12. Escalate issues to the Lead Project Manager.
13. Perform checks to validate Contractors’ installations.
14. Attend mutual QC walk-downs with owners.
15. Support Design Verification and start-up/commissioning quality issues.
16. Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving, tracking defect rectification and closure.
17. Provide quality training for Subcontractors.
18. Summarize and analyze quality inspection data for reporting and improvement.
19. Document lessons learned for new projects.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in construction quality activities for international projects, preferably with semiconductor project experience.

Additional qualities include proven leadership, teamwork, and the ability to coordinate with various disciplines. Proficiency in both local language and English is required.
