Job Title: Sales Manager (BYD)


Job Description:

As a Sales Manager in the automotive industry based in Singapore, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the Singapore market. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the Singapore automotive market.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to maximise their performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and distributorships.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches tailored to the Singapore market.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and market trends relevant to the automotive sector in Singapore.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in automotive sales, with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the automotive industry, market dynamics, and customer preferences in Singapore.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Experience in managing distributor networks and channel partners is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Singapore and occasionally overseas as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
