Job description

Our client is in the construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor / Class 1 General Builder) and provides a full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.

Job Scope

1. Manage all aspects of construction execution; from site preparations to build-out, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with project timelines and specifications.
2. Ensure that the construction, installation, and assembly of components, equipment, and systems align with the construction plans and drawings.
3. Prepare construction progress reports based on contractual terms regarding time, cost, and quality.
4. Document action items and follow-ups from project meetings.
5. Liaise with clients for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintain all required records at the sites.
6. Drive safety and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in building (hotel/commercial) projects is preferred.
• Must be technically inclined with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills to coordinate between various disciplines and construction teams.

Candidate can start work on short notice is preferred.

Summary of Role Requirements

• Availability to work on the following mornings: Monday to Saturday.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required.
• Working rights are required.
• Expected start date: 26 August 2024.
• Expected salary: $4,500 - $6,500 per month.
