Job Description:
- Oversee production plans, including the creation, release, and timely shipment of work orders to meet customer requirements.
- Review customer demand and commit delivery dates to the Sales Department in Sales Order Details.
- Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of materials.
- Monitor and coordinate material shortages, advise on quantity order requests, and collaborate with Buyers to expedite materials.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor material fulfillment and utilization of work-in-progress (WIP).
- Follow up and execute work order changes for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Deviation Notices (DNs).
- Drive efforts to minimize excess and obsolete WIP inventory.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing processes and key performance metrics.
- Participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflow procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Planning Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Technical Engineering/ Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in EMS / Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP PP module, including knowledge of work order management, materials flow, and production planning is a plus.
- Strong skills in negotiation and analysis.
- Require knowledge in work order management and understanding of Bill of Material.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
