Job description

Job Description:

  1. Oversee production plans, including the creation, release, and timely shipment of work orders to meet customer requirements.
  2. Review customer demand and commit delivery dates to the Sales Department in Sales Order Details.
  3. Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of materials.
  4. Monitor and coordinate material shortages, advise on quantity order requests, and collaborate with Buyers to expedite materials.
  5. Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time.
  6. Monitor material fulfillment and utilization of work-in-progress (WIP).
  7. Follow up and execute work order changes for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Deviation Notices (DNs).
  8. Drive efforts to minimize excess and obsolete WIP inventory.
  9. Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing processes and key performance metrics.
  10. Participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflow procedures.
  11. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Planning Manager.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma/ Degree in Technical Engineering/ Supply Chain, Business or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in EMS / Manufacturing environment.
  3. Experience with SAP PP module, including knowledge of work order management, materials flow, and production planning is a plus.
  4. Strong skills in negotiation and analysis.
  5. Require knowledge in work order management and understanding of Bill of Material.
  6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
