KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist the Sous Chef to ensure quality meals are prepared by inmates in accordance with dietary requirements and proper standards at all stages.
  2. Supervise inmates in daily food preparation, cooking, and dishing in the kitchen.
  3. Ensure daily food samples are collected, handled in a sterile manner, and stored under appropriate conditions.
  4. Follow strict food hygiene and safety guidelines for handling food items.
  5. Ensure inmates practice good personal hygiene, proper use of kitchen equipment, and safe work practices.
  6. Oversee cleaning and sanitizing procedures after kitchen operations.
  7. Perform receiving and inspection of deliveries to ensure they match purchase order (PO) requirements.
  8. Maintain excellent relationships with Singapore Prison Services and YRI, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  9. Maintain high standards of hygiene and workplace safety at all times.
  10. Enhance personal knowledge through in-house training.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  12. Represent the company professionally through conduct and appearance.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations.
  2. Proficient in English and able to write simple English.
  3. Ability to work with and guide inmates in the kitchen.
  4. Possess valid food and hygiene certificates.
