Job description

Our client is seeking candidates for the position of Electrical Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Take charge of assigned projects.
2. Requisition resources such as labor, materials, and equipment.
3. Plan for timely delivery and minimize wastage of resources.
4. Monitor the progress and performance of subcontractors.
5. Manage projects to ensure progress according to schedule and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
6. Coordinate with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work, and authorities regarding project progress, approvals, and issues.
7. Collaborate with the Purchasing Department on delivery of purchased items.
8. Ensure proper handover of completed projects to clients.
9. Administer contracts, claims, disputes, variations, and final accounts.
10. Provide on-the-job training to new project staff.
11. Assign and supervise subcontractors’ work.
12. Ensure safety practices are followed on site.
13. Resolve work coordination and technical issues at the site.
14. Inspect incoming materials and equipment at the work site.
15. Conduct quality checks on work performed.
16. Monitor stock control of materials at the site.
17. Recommend and implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
18. Prepare Quality Plans.
19. Ensure all site activities adhere to approved drawings and instructions from architects, engineers, and clients.
20. Perform assignments as directed by senior management.
